Four years after WC head butt, Zidane, Marco shake hands in Milan
December 10th, 2010 - 5:16 pm ICT by ANIMilan (Italy), Dec.10 (ANI): Former French and Italian football stars Zinedine Zidane and Marco Materazzi have shaken hands for the first time since their 2006 World Cup final bust-up.
French legend ZZ was sent off in the last match of his career after he butted the Italian defender in the chest.
The pair bumped into each other at a Milan hotel recently, but according to The Sun, Materazzi insisted: “What was said stays between us.
“Let’s say I did most of the talking. When he held out his hand at the end, I shook it firmly until he looked me properly in the eye.
“It’s what I wanted. For me it was great, I don’t know about him.” (ANI)
