Former WWE Wrestler Gertrude “Luna” Vachon Dead

lunaAug 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Gertrude “Luna” Vachon, the former World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler, who is better known to her fans as “Daughter of Darkness” died on Friday at her mother’s place. The exact cause of the death of the former WWE diva is yet to be known. The news of the death of Gertrude “Luna” Vachon was confirmed to media sources by the World Wrestling Entertainment organization which issued a statement mentioning her death and extending its support for the family of the deceased.

The World Wrestling Entertainment in its statement mentioned that it has come to know about the passing away of Gertrude “Luna” Vachon and that the organization extends its “deepest condolences to the Vachon family”. The statement also remembered the years Gertrude “Luna” Vachon was associated with WWE and performed under the name of ‘Luna’ Vachon. Apart from the World Wrestling Entertainment family that was saddened by the death of one of its brightest female wrestlers, many former and present wrestlers who have been in close association with Gertrude “Luna” Vachon extended their support and condolence messages for the family which has suffered tone of its greatest loss.

Brian Heffron, better known to his fans as “The Blue Meanie”, on Friday remembered Gertrude “Luna” Vachon as a “Den Mother” who had taught him the do’s and don’ts in the field of World Wrestling Entertainment. He mentioned that Gertrude “Luna” Vachon had this immense capability to be both “tough and gentle” at the same time. Mick Foley too voiced the same thoughts and added that his family shared a personal relationship with Gertrude “Luna” Vachon. He mentioned that he had talked to the lady only last month and that he could not believe the fact that he would not be able to listen to her voice in future.
