Aug 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to ‘PWTorch’, the former WWE wrestler know to the world as “Lance Cade” has passed away for reasons that are not yet known. Cade had battled with prescription drug issues which had cost him his wrestling career, but it has not been confirmed whether or not the cause of death was drug related.

Cade was a member of the original class of students which were trained by the legendary Shawn Michaels and Rudy Boy Ginzales at his Michael’s Wrestling Academy which is located in San Antonio, Texas. The class members also include Bryan Danielson and Brian Kendrick. Lance Cade was immediately signed into the WWF.

He officially became a member of the roster in 2003 and teamed up with Mark Jindrak who is now known as Marco Corleone of Lucha Libre USA. He was eventually partnered with Trevor Murdock. The held the WWE Tag Team championship for a while.

His most successful run in the WWE was alongside Chris Jericho while Jericho was feuding with Shawn Michaels. He was released from the WWE at that time because he had taken too many painkillers and had a seizure on a plane. The plane had to change course in order to save his life, and the WWE chose to let him go.

He was brought back to the company eventually, and was under contract for around one year, but was released again. Cade claimed that he was fired because he had asked for help with personal issues he was having with addictions to pain relievers and sleep aides. WWE sent him to rehab, but claimed that although the WWE Wellness Policy is there so employees can get help, he was released when he asked for it.

He leaves behind two young daughters.
