Vancouver, July 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American figure skating champion Tonya Harding has again the tied the knot, according to officials of the Clark County. The former Olympic ice skater who is best known for her involvement in the attack on fellow skater Nancy Kerrigan, is reported to have married 42 year old Joseph Jens Price in Washington recently.

Deputy Auditor Karen Updike told a leading news source that she had issued a marriage license to the 39 year old ice skater and her newly-wedded husband on June 23. The couple is reported to have filed the certificate on Tuesday which revealed that the hush hush wedding took place at the Community Church of God and Pastor Lloyd Ward who hails from the church solemnized the wedding. The rather secretive manner in which the wedding took place has grabbed attention, more so as any confirmation regarding the nuptials has not been forthcoming from the 39 year old former skater or any of her representative. Moreover, Pastor Lloyd Ward who is said to have officiated the wedding also has not been available for any comments in this regard.

Tonya Harding was the winner of the U.S. Figure Skating Championship way back in the year 1991 and was also successful in registering two Olympic medals during her skating career. However, the renowned skater was banned by the U.S. Figure Skating Association due to her alleged role in the assault on ice skater Nancy Kerrigan in the year 1994. Her former husband Jeff Gillooly had played a role in the planning the attack while Tonya Harding herself had pleaded guilty to charges related to the incident.
