timNov.5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tim Floyd, the former coach of the American professional basketball team, Chicago Bulls has been in news recently as he acted as a peacemaker between few women who were involved in a cat-fight at the Morongo Casino, outside of Palm Desert in California. Tim ended up amidst the fight when he was visiting his friend on his way to New Orleans from Los Angeles.

Tim later revealed that the fight went on for some time but as nobody intervened to stop the clash he had to step in. However, Tim had a reason to worry as one of the women reportedly had picked up a chair to clobber the coach from back, when he had no clue about it. Fortunately a guy got hold of the woman, as she was just about to hit the coach. Reportedly, the entire incident has also been caught on camera, which can be viewed on various online portals and the video has made Tim’s rescue operation immensely popular among internet users.

Tim had resigned as the coach of the USC in the month of June this year, citing the reason that he did not have any enthusiasm to play his role as a coach. Tim was earlier also associated with the basketball teams of New Orleans Hornets and the Iowa state. In the year 2005, he was appointed as the head coach of Trojans, who later won the third position in the Pacific 10 Conference in the 2006-2007 season and the last season’s NCAA tournament. However, after his resignation, Tim has not clarified when he is likely to return but at the same time has not ruled out the possibility too.
