Nov.13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former baseball player Sammy Sosa has created quite a buzz lately as certain photos of the player revealed his much lighter skin tone. Sosa is supposedly amazed at the wave of attention that his lighter skin color is receiving. After his recent pictures surfaced, fans of the much acclaimed player were quite worried as they feared that Sosa might be suffering from some kind of a skin disorder which resulted in his lighter skin.

However, his fans do not have any reason to worry about as the player has denied that he is suffering from any sort of skin condition. Sosa is said to be extremely taken aback by the stir that he has created recently. It was also anticipated that the player must be suffering from a skin condition similar to musical icon Michael Jackson, whose lighter skin color had resulted from the skin condition vitiligo. At the same time, the player has recently admitted to have been using a skin cream over a certain period of time to make his skin look better and smooth. He also emphasized that he used the cream to take care of the damage that his skin had incurred for over exposure to sun during his baseball career. Although the player has not revealed the name of the cream as yet, he has expressed his plans to market the skin product in the near future.

Sammy Sosa whose real name is Samuel Peralta Sosa has an illustrious sports career spanning over many years. During his playing years, Sosa has been part of teams such as Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers among others.
