London, Apr. 25 (ANI): British tennis champion Andy Murray may miss close pal and boxer David Haye’s long-anticipated world title clash with arch Ukrainian foe Wladimir Klitschko in Hamburg, Germany, on July 2.

According to the Daily Express, Murray may miss the match if he features in the Wimbledon final it takes place the day after on Sunday July 3.

“Andy and David have really been giving one another moral support of late. Andy’s really excited about the Klitschko fight and in any other circumstances would hope to be there. But getting into that Wimbledon final takes priority,” a source told the paper.

Murray, 23, has made it to the semi-final stages at the All England Club in both 2009 and 2010.

British tennis fans everywhere will be hoping that the young Scot doesn’t get the chance to fly to Germany that weekend. (ANI)
