Floyd Mayweather Jr Being Sought by Police in Domestic Violence Incident
September 10th, 2010 - 2:05 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonSep 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to ‘TMZ’, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr is currently being sought by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department after many police cars were dispatched to the home of Mayweather and Josie Harris, with whom Mayweather shares a child, after Harris claimed the boxer had attacked her.
The police received the call at around 5 am, with a frantic Harris asking for help and saying that Mayweather had abused her. Although many officers were dispatched to the scene, Mayweather was not found. Harris was taken to the Southern Hills Hospital which is located in Las Vegas, but was later released.
The police are now searching for Mayweather and wish to interview him. They will need to speak with him before determining whether or not charges will be filed. This is not the first time he has been accused by Harris. In 2003, Harris stated that Mayweather had both punched her and kicked her inside of a ‘Bentley’, also in Las Vegas. In 2005, other charges were filed, but later dropped, when Harris claimed that she had made the whole thing up because she was made at Mayweather for leaving her for another woman.
