Floyd Little Honored With Pro Football Hall Of Fame

Aug 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Highly acclaimed Denver Broncos running back Floyd Little had to wait for 30 long years to ultimately be honored with the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Despite the fact that during his retirement, he was the 7th leading rusher in the Pro Football history, the Hall of Fame award still remained elusive. However, the prayers of his large number of fans was finally answered on Saturday night when Floyd Little was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
After being bestowed with the honor, a visibly delighted Floyd Little told the crowd that he had no words to describe the happiness that he was experiencing at being conferred with the greatest honor in comparison to which everything else completely fades away. In the mighty induction speech, the noted former Denver Broncos running back inspired everyone to have faith in themselves and in believe in “Yes, I can” while pointing out that throughout his career he had always given his very best shot. Although Floyd Little was highly regarded for his prowess over the game as he had been successful in proving himself time and again, the Hall of Fame honor never really came his way and he was never even nominated.
Floyd Little played for nine seasons all of which were with Denver Broncos. During his illustrious career, the renowned running back was able to score 54 touchdowns as well as had 12,157 all-purpose yards. Apart from being one of most highly profile running backs of his time, Floyd Little was known as a rather dangerous punt and kickoff returner.
