New York, Nov 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Boston College were humiliated 38-7 by Florida State on Thursday night. The loss ended the dreams of Boston in reaching the Bowl this season. This will be the first time in 13 seasons that Boston has not made it to that far.

Boston coach Frank Spaziani acknowledged that his team was routed. After the game, he said that, “We got licked…Couldn’t get a first down; couldn’t get out of our own way for a little bit there…We had trouble blocking and we had trouble protecting. Because of our situation with the backs, we had put a couple of things in for Josh.”

It was a humiliating game for Boston. They went down 28-0 before they started putting up some kind of challenge. Their late onslaught was heavily crushed sending them to a loss of 38-7.

It is not everyone in the Boston team which down by the defeat. Linebacker Luke Kuechly said the team will go all out fighting against N.C. State.

EJ Manuel had a great game completing 12 of 16 passed during the game. The win means Florida State will be making its 30th straight NCAA-best bowl game.
