Florida & Alabama Top BCS Standings 2009

October 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Florida has received the top position in the BCS standings 2009, which was released on Sunday, 18 October. Alabama Crimson Tide lacked few points from Florida and had received the second position in the Bowl Championship Series rankings of this year. The rival teams of Alabama and Florida have received the first two positions in the match and fans can expect some exciting game in the series. Both the teams have strong line ups in this season and would give their best to clinch the title.
Texas team have received the third place in the BCS standing 2009 and they are also expected to give tough fight to their opponents. The fourth and fifth position in the rankings were enjoyed by the Boise State team and Cincinnati team respectively. Fans of the Boise team must have become happy to see their team reaching to the fourth position in the BCS rankings. Cincinnati players had given some impressive performances in the recent matches and it is expected that they would improve their performances to become the champions. Iowa team followed the Cincinnati in the rankings and were named in the sixth position.
Ranking of the UCS team had been quite disappointing this year. They were dropped down to number seven in the BCS rankings that was declared on Sunday. UCS players would have to work very hard if they want to become the winner of the BCS title. Fans are expecting to see some spectacular matches from their favorite teams in the matches of Bowl Championship Series 2009.
