Jan 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) As the NFL Championships kick off, speculations about the NFL scoreboard are becoming frenzied. It is not very surprising, because, this time, the NFL Championships are one of the most hyped in the recent years. Which, in turn, is understandable, provided that this time, one of the most obscure teams has suddenly shot into the limelight, and how! The New Orleans Saints have made it to the Super Bowl, for the first time in the history of the team. To add to the excitement, they are going to be pitted against one of the most promising teams in the NFL, the Indianapolis Colts.
Had it been any other day, the NFL scoreboard would not have caused much of a stir. However, this time, the New Orleans Saints have blasted the Minnesota Vikings out of their way into the Super Bowl, delivering an astonishing performance and defeating the team 31-28, making observers pause to think. After Sunday’s performance, it is indeed hard to say how the final NFL scoreboard would stand at the end of the day.
On the other hand, the Indianapolis Colts have also gone up to the Super Bowl, defeating the New York Jets 30-17. A few days back, it would have been much easier to predict the final scoreboard of the NFL. However, it no longer seems to be that predictable, with the New York Jets having on their roster one of the most efficient players in the NFL, Brett Favre. On the other hand, the New Orleans Saints are really hopeful about Drew Brees. No wonder there is such an amount of speculation regarding the final NFL scoreboard.
