London, Mar 28(ANI): Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will discuss a 40 million pound summer move for Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery when the two clubs meet for their Champions League tie on Tuesday.
Ribery has been on Ferguson’s radar for a couple of seasons, and although, the odds are shortening on the 26-year-old ending up in Spain, Ferguson will seek him for his side.
“I like Ribery. Bayern wanted 70 million pounds for him last summer, but it looks like he will get his move this summer. It’s looking like Spain, but I do like him,” The Daily Express quoted Ferguson, as saying.
The French international has represented his nation at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2008, and is known for “pace, energy, skill and precise passing.”
Since joining Bayern in 2007, Ribery has been recognized as one of the best French players of his generation. (ANI)
