London, Oct.31 (ANI): Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson is not too happy about critics questioning the form of club and England center half Rio Ferdinand.
The Manchester United centre-half has made a number of high-profile errors this season. His most recent came last Sunday in the 2-0 defeat by Liverpool as he was outrun by Fernando Torres for the opening goal.
“I read the newspapers and I hear he’s (Ferdinand) going to be dropped and all the rest and I don’t know if any of yers have got to my mind, any of yers! You know, you can try to pick my teams but you’ll never pick my team,” The Sun quoted Ferdinand, as saying.
“I just have to put it down to the modern culture of humiliating people, which you do very well, and sensationalise and all the rest of it but I don’t know where you get it from,” he added. (ANI)
