Alex Ferguson London, May 2 (ANI): Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has risked another FA rap by suggesting that his club is a victim of referee’s conspiracy.

United now faces Chelsea in a title shootout next Sunday with Ferguson worrying that match officials could cost them the Premoier League title.

Ferguson, who hoped that United should have been awarded a late penalty yesterday when Michael Owen was fouled for a spot-kick at Arsenal, said: “We’re not going to get the decisions in these big games, I’m afraid.”

“It gives Chelsea a major chance now. They got great decisions on Saturday. We never seem to get these kind of decisions. They seem to be getting them,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.

“They got one to win the league at Old Trafford last season so that’s a worry. We go into these kind of games worrying about these kind of things,” Ferguson said.

Chelsea would go top of the Premier League if they beat United as they currently have the same goal difference as United. (ANI)
