Alex Ferguson London, Mar. 15 (ANI): Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson is hoping to target his 100th Champions League win tonight.

According to The Sun, the victory would also be Manchester United’s 150th in Europe.

United have been champions of Europe three times before and the Old Trafford boss would dearly love to win it again before he bows out.

But first they must get past Marseille in a last-16 clash that is finely balanced after a 0-0 first-leg draw in France.

Ferguson watched the French champions notch up their fifth win in six league games, 2-0 at Rennes on Friday night.

He warned his players: “We are playing an experienced, powerful Marseille team and we will have to play well.”

History is also on United’s side, having won eight and drawn three of their last 11 games against French sides at Old Trafford. (ANI)
