FBI Questions Milton McGregor In Cam Newton Case

cam1Nov 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Milton McGregor, the booster of Auburn Tigers has been questioned by FBI regarding Cam Newton’s NCAA investigation. The Auburn Tigers quarterback Cam Newton landed himself in hot waters when reports surfaced that he bribed Kenny Rogers, a former Mississippi State Bulldogs player during his recruitment. The investigators are still searching for the clues and leaving no stones unturned to find out the actual story, however, now the FBI is investigating if Milton McGregor had any involvement in the whole case.

Milton McGregor was arrested last month and he was indicted with 10 other men on charges of buying votes in the legislature. Media sources popped up a question if Milton McGregor was familiar with Cam Newton’s case. However, Milton McGregor’s attorney released a statement where it was stated that the Auburn booster has never been asked to provide any money for “recruitment” or even “compensation” of Cam Newton or any other school student and he has never provided any money as well. Former Mississippi State quarterback John Bond who was the reason behind Cam Newton scandal as he told a reputed media source that he met a man last year who claimed that he represents Cam Newton, tried to bribe him.

A reputed media source reported that the investigators have not found out any involvement of Milton McGregor till now. Milton McGregor’s representative said that he heard the Auburn booster had no involvement with Cam Newton or his family. However, regarding Cam Newton, Milton McGregor feels that the former is the best athlete in the college football and he “cheers loudly” for the Auburn Tigers’ quarterback.
