Fans look forward to their date with Super Bowl 2011
January 24th, 2011 - 8:58 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, Jan 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Super Bowl is just fortnight away. The road to the Super Bowl 2011 date has produced everything from disappointment to inspiration.
Some preseason favorites failed to glitter while some teams pushed harder to get closer to the Super Bowl. There are four teams now that fighting for the final two slots for the Super Bowl.
The penultimate game to the Super Bowl 2011 date will see the Green Bay fight it out with Chicago to get the chance to appear at the most prestigious event on the NFL calendar. The other slot will be battled out between Pittsburgh and New York.
With giants like the Vikings, Saints and Chargers all out, hosts, Dallas hoped that the Cowboys will be at the Super Bow. That dream however turned to tears when the Cowboys were painfully exited from the race.
The Patriots started to dream when they had an excellent run up to the end of the regular season. The Patriots hadn’t made it that far in quite a few years. However that dream was shattered when the Jets ousted them from the race.
The fact that all the teams that have made it this far are par does not in any way mean that the Super Bowl 2011 date will be any less eventful.
