micvDec.09, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the fans of legendary basketball player Michael Jordan were left immensely disappointed when they attended an Utah Flash game at the McKay Events Center hoping to see the player back in action but instead ended up watching his lookalike. Thousand of fans had gathered at the venue to catch a glimpse of the iconic player clashing against his old rival Byron Russell but to their utter dismay, Michael Jordan never turned up during the much anticipated game.

When the crowd that had gathered realized that Michael Jordan was not taking part in the match but it was actually an impostor acting like him, the lookalike was left with no option but to step out of the court, amidst an uproar among the crowd. Meanwhile, Flash owner Brandt Andersen has accepted to have hired a Michael Jordan lookalike, who appeared in the season opener. At the same time, he also offered his apologies on Tuesday and emphasized that all the tickets would be refunded to the fans. Brandt Andersen also confirmed that an impostor was sent around the Utah town to fuel the rumor that the player was indeed in the town. The efforts surely helped as around 7500 spectators turned up at the venue to see the legendary player in action.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the Utah Flash owner had actually invited the legendary player to a challenge in the month of September. However, despite the fact that Michael Jordan did not react to the offer, he continued with the promotion and ultimately ended up hiring a lookalike to play in the match.
