Facing jail time for drunk driving, Gazza now wants to be an actor
November 10th, 2010 - 2:09 pm ICT by ANILondon, Nov.10 (ANI): Former Newcastle, Spurs and England star Paul Gascoigne has indicated a desire to get over his alcohol and drug addiction problems to make it as an actor like his close friend Vinnie Jones.
Though Gazza could be jailed tomorrow when he appears before a Justice of the Peace to be sentenced for drink driving, he seems to keen on taking up acting as a new profession. “I need to get well to take on the role. This is my last chance at getting my life sorted and having a career as an actor. It was a favourite film of mine,” The Sun quoted Gazza, as saying.Former Wimbledon midfielder Jones, 45, said: “I’d love to get him involved if he’s straightened himself out a bit.” (ANI)
