Ex-wife to go over Norman, Everts relationship with a toothcombJanuary 14th, 2008 - 12:19 pm ICT by admin
Melbourne. Jan 14 (ANI): Aussie golfer Greg Normans relationship with former tennis ace Chris Evert may not remain private for long, for his ex-wife will be dragging it to court in their divorce battle.
According to a report in Florida’s Vero Beach Press Journal newspaper, Normans ex-wife Laura Andrassy is seeking transcripts of all interviews the golfer gave since he began divorce proceedings in June 2006.
She and her legal team are said to be especially interested in comments he made about her, their marriage and his relationship with Evert.
The paper revealed that paperwork filed by Andrassy’s attorney, Jack Scarola, stated he was looking for “publicly broadcast, published or printed interviews and other public comment and public statement made by or attributed to Greg Norman”.
A final judgement on the divorce was signed by a Florida judge in September 2007, but a number of issues are yet to be finalised, reports News.com.au.
These include a potential tax liability on Norman’s private jet, as well as the sale of their four bedroom home on Florida’s exclusive Jupiter Island, which has been put on the market for 65 million dollars.
The main house comes along with a two-bedroom guesthouse, 17 car garage, tennis court, swimming pool and boat dock.
The couple agreed to a settlement in which Andrassy would get 300 million dollars of Normans 500 million dollar fortune that they had built during their 25 year marriage in 2006.
However, Norman changed his mind and demanded that Andrassy slash the amount she was asking for.
In September 2007 Norman announced his intention to marry, and they became engaged on Sunday, December 9, 2007. (ANI)
