Ex-IOC chief Samaranch suffers heart attack
October 14th, 2009 - 8:38 am ICT by IANSParis, Oct 14 (DPA) Former president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Juan Antonio Samaranch has been hospitalised in Monaco after a heart attack, the Paris sport newspaper L’Equipe reported late Tuesday.
The 89-year-old Spaniard, who led the IOC from 1980 to 2001, was admitted to the Princesse Grace hospital.
