Everton fans likely to give Man U’s Rooney a roasting for sexcapade
September 9th, 2010 - 5:44 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sept.9 (ANI): Everton fans are likely to give Manchester United’s key striker Wayne Rooney a major roasting for his recent sexcapade with a prostitute, when the two teams meet for a match on Saturday.
The Sun quoted England teammate and Everton defender Phil Jagielka as saying that Rooney could expect a fair amount of abuse and ridicule at Goodison Park after revelations that he cheated on his wife Coleen with hookers.
Asked if Rooney will get slaughtered by Everton supporters, Jagielka said: “There’s a good chance. He normally gets quite a bit of stick anyway. I can’t see that changing.”
“I am sure Wayne can deal with it. He is a tough lad and he will let his football do the talking,” he added. (ANI)
