Everton are still a big part of my life, says Wayne Rooney
January 28th, 2010 - 5:25 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan 29 (ANI): English footballer Wayne Rooney is still a huge fan of Everton.
The 24-year-old striker had started his career with Everton, but moved to Manchester United six years ago.
But he always checks their result when he comes off the pitch.
He has also bought a tiny blue and white club strip for two-month-old son Kai.
“I love Everton. I grew up supporting them and want them to win,” the Mirror quoted him as saying in an interview to his old club’s TV station.
“All my family are fans, my son has his kit. Everton are still a big part of my life,” he added. (ANI)
