Wilton, Oct 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ESPN analyst and former Mets general manager Steve Phillips had been having an affair with a 22-year-old production assistant Brooke Hundley. He had a steamy affair with her last year and dumped her last summer.

According to the reports, Brooke was left disgruntled when the affair ended and then began getting her own sweet revenge through Phillips wife Marni and his sons. She sent letters to his wife Marni detailing their sexual romps and other personal physical details of Phillips which would leave no doubt in Marni’s mind that she really had an affair with him.

She also contacted his son through Facebook on the Internet in an apparent bid to learn more about the family and their habits.The jilted Brooke Hundley, continuously phoned Phillips’ wife, Marni, saying, “We both can’t have him!” an explosive police report claims. “The tone of the text message was, ‘I care about Steve, I make him happy, and we both can’t have him,’ ” Marni said.

According to the report, Brooke Hundley sent a letter and called Phillips’ wife after Phillips ended the relationship, and had a series of “Fatal Attraction” type moments that may have included contacting Phillips’ sons via Facebook and the Internet.

Steve Phillips also had enormous concerns about the havoc that Brooke was trying to create in his life and in his family, “I have extreme concerns about the health and safety of my kids and myself,” Steve Phillips said in a police statement, adding that the woman became “obsessive and delusional” after he dumped her.

Following these disclosures, he has been suspended by ESPN for a week, and his wife Marni has understandably filed for divorce. She is 40 years old and also the mother to the couples 4 sons.
