England boss Capello asks disgraced Terry to ‘get help’ to manage personal life

London, Feb. 7 (ANI): England coach Fabio Capello expressed concern over John Terry’s personal life and asked him to “get help” when he was fired as the three lions’ skipper.
News of the World quoted sources, as saying that Terry, who came under fire after his affair with team-mate Wayne Bridge’s ex-girlfriend became public, is refusing to come to terms with the fact he is responsible for one of the biggest scandals in the history of the national team.
Capello, who has been appalled by his behaviour in recent months, urged the disgraced skipper to seek professional guidance when they met on Friday, they added.
Although the England coach did not urge him to visit a shrink, he believes Terry needs to employ professional management to take control of his financial and personal affairs.
Capello fears that Terry is in meltdown, concerns shared by senior FA members.
Currently, Terry employs former Chelsea youth team player Paul Nicholls and Rushden chairman Keith Cousins as his agents.
Last summer, he split with long- term agent Aaron Lincoln, who was also best man at his wedding two years ago.
Since then Terry’s life has been littered with scandal.
In the last few months he has become involved in a string of embarrassing situations that affected his credibility as England captain.
Last year, he conducted a private tour of the Chelsea training ground with News of the World reporters in exchange for 10,000 pounds in cash, which apparently went to charity.
In the week that his England captaincy was in jeopardy, associates of the Chelsea defender agreed to sell his Wembley box for next month’s friendly with Egypt, against FA rules, in exchange for 4,000 pounds. (ANI)
