July 17th, 2008 - 7:24 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Washington , July 17 (ANI): A remake of the classic My fair Lady would now be penned by none other than British actress Emma Thompson.
After winning an Oscar for Sense and Sensibility, the Howards End star has now been commissioned to write the screenplay for George Bernard Shaw’’s Pygmalion musical.
However, the actress has claimed that her version of the Audrey Hepburn movie musical would require some more time.
“I”m a Luddite, and I write longhand with an old fountain pen, Contactmusic quoted her as telling Parade magazine.
Thompson is the only star to have won Academy Awards for both acting and screenwriting. (ANI)
