emerald-bowlSan Francisco, Dec. 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The bowl games have started and the college football season is coming to a close as bowl games are getting over one by one. Last night, USC Trojans met the Boston College Eagles to claim the Emerald Bowl title. There were several anticipations regarding the match, which had gained a good momentum from the start. However, the teams proved all anticipations wrong and gifted an entertaining game to the fans who had come to see the game. The thrill of the game was intact throughout and Trojans finally defeated the Eagles.

This season did not turn up quite favorable for the teams and many people doubted their performance in the game. However, Trojans appeared in a complete new form in the Emerald Bowl game and performed well. Matt Barkley of USC Trojans had made significant contribution for the victory of his team in the Emerald Bowl. As per the match reports, his touchdown passes and possessions had helped the team get a lead against the Eagles.

Though the Trojans did not play a highly impressive game, they had successfully done everything that was needed for the team’s win against the Eagles. According to the reports, the game ended with a final score of 24-13, which showed the praiseworthy performance of the Trojans team. While the offense players added the required score for winning the match, the defense players did everything that was needed to restrict the offense players of the Eagles. The Eagles players could not make a comeback in the game in spite of having some skilled players on their side.
