She became an Internet sensation when the video of her aggressive actions was a major hit on YouTube as well as on Today’s show on http://today.msnbc.msn.com/ as well.

Junior defender Elizabeth Lambert was suspended on Friday for her despise-able actions the day before in the semi final game battlefield. Elizabeth Lambert is seen in the video from the infamous game punching elbows, colliding with many players and then pulling the ponytail of a BYU player who subsequently went fell down on the ground.

By doing all this she drew an enormous amount of attention to an anonymous game. She has made the journey from an anonymous junior defender to a newsworthy person that America is suddenly talking about. Producers from the Today Show, CBS This Morning, and Good Morning America are all trying to get her on their shows before the other one can in this age of TV channel’s competitively.
