Electronic Arts Extends Support To Tiger Woods

San Francisco, Jan 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Video games company Electronic Arts, Inc. announced on Monday, that it would continue to stand by the World No. 1 golfer Tiger Woods and is all set to release an online game featuring the disgraced golfer in the later part of the month.
Peter Moore, President of EA Sports declared his companies utmost support for the ace golfer and emphasized that the embattled golfer is “still one of the greatest athletes in history”. The company blog further read that despite the controversy surrounding the ace golfer, Electronic Arts would continue with the Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online game. Meanwhile, the gaming company has also added that the association is based on the golfing skills of the ace sportsman, who has been with Electronic Arts for more than a decade.
Moreover, it has also been revealed that the company has spent months working on the online game and has been vigorously trying to develop the game for almost a year. Peter Moore also implied that the company is satisfied with the end product and the game is scheduled to be released in open beta during the later part of January.
Meanwhile, a host of companies have dissociated themselves with Tiger Woods in the wake of the scandal regarding his involvement in multiple extramarital affairs. The personal life of the world renowned golfer was completely ripped apart by the media as successive reports emerged linking him with at least 14 woman. Although, the golf star never openly admitted any of the relationships, Tiger Woods accepted to have been involved in “transgressions” which his family did not deserve.
