Ed Reed’s Brother Go Missing After Escaping Police Chase

Jan 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Authorities working with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office were out for a massive search hunt today to look for the brother of Baltimore Raven’s safety, Ed Reed. . According to reports, the 29-year old Brian Reed allegedly jumped into the Mississippi River close to the Kenner-St. Charles Parish line while he was trying to flee.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office said that Ed Reed’s brother Brian Reed, 29, had been inquired by deputies after they followed his car along the River Road. The car that Brian Reed was driving was reportedly black in color. A car was found parked beside the road, and the description of the car matched with the one the police reported to have followed. When the police inquired the man inside the car i.e. Brian Reed, it was found that the car was a stolen, as told by Sgt. Dwayne LaGrange. Even after being handcuffed, Brian Reed allegedly jumped into the river close to the border between St. Charles Parish and Kenner, La. After he jumped into the river, the police officials kept looking for him for a long time, but the body Brian Reed did not resurface. The Coast Guard as well as the Port Authority are on the look out for Brian Reed. Brian Reed’s mother, Karen Reed, said her son had problems with alcohol and drugs.
Deputies watched Brian Reed go under the water and since then he has not been spotted. Authorities spent a considerable time of the day in anticipation that his body would resurface. However, their anticipation was proven false. Ed Reed and his family are waiting for any word regarding any news of the missing man.
