Eastern Washington Eagles Beats Villanova Wildcats To Reach FCS Final

villanova-eastern-washington-basketballDec 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Friday night, it was a dream come true for the Eastern Washington Eagles after they defeated rivals Villanova Wildcats by a score of 41-31 in the semi-finals of the FCS. Now, the Eastern Washington Eagles will face the final match next year on January 7. Those who witnessed the semi-final between the Eagles and the Wildcats said that it was indeed an exciting game as both the teams battled hard to reach the final destination. However, the day went in favor of the Eastern Washington Eagles who received the much needed back up from Bo Levi Mitchell.

Bo Levi Mitchell came out to be the star of the night after he delivered four touchdowns for his team. Football experts were seen commenting on how the night was gradually turning out to be outstanding for the Eagles player. He went for a total of 292 yards for the four touchdowns that he shot last night, completing 27 of 38 yards. The match held at the Spokane’s Roos Field ended up with a nail biting victory for the Eagles with Bo Levi Mitchell delivering a touchdown pass to Greg Herd on fourth down.

As for the rest of the team, Mario Brown rushed 104 yards with 26 carries. While Brandon Kaufman successfully caught eight passes for 135 yards and then went for a touchdown, Nicholas Edwards, on the other hand, was seen adding two first half touchdown catches. The Eastern Washington Eagles (12-2) have lifted themselves to 8-0 making their way first time for the national title championship. Villanova Wildcats’s Chris Whitney tried hard but unfortunately succeeded in throwing for only 95 yards.
