Donovan McNabb to sit out in the Redskins vs. New York Jets game, so is Mark Sanchez going to hog the limelight

New York, Aug 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Washington Redskins will be playing the New York Jets on Friday night and one of the key players who will be missing the match is Donovan McNabb who injured his ankle while playing for the Redskins’ match against the Baltimore Ravens in which the former lost.

McNabb was born on November 25 1976 and featured as a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles in ten seasons i.e. 1999-2009. The Eagles won 4 East Division championships in a row with the help of McNabb. He played college football while at the University of Syracuse. His 4th and 26th play against the Green Bay Packers in the dying minutes of the 2003 NFC Divisional playoff is the most memorable of his NFL career.

McNabb will surely miss the Redskins game against the New York Jets but Mark Sanchez, the Jets quarterback is likely to play. It is also been said that in the absence of McNabb, Sanchez is sure to hog the limelight.

Sanchez was born on November 11 1986 and won the 2009 Rose Bowl offensive Most Valuable Player award. He was drafted in the 2009 NFL Draft by the New York Jets after playing college football in the University of Southern California.
