Dhoni’s hometown gets stadium
July 5th, 2010 - 12:18 am ICT by IANSRanchi, July 4 (IANS) While Indian cricket captain and hometown boy M.S. Dhoni prepared to tie the knot in Dehradun, Board of Control for Cricket in India president Shashank Manohar and Jharkhand Governor M.O.H. Farook Sunday inaugurated indoor facilities at a cricket stadium under construction here.
Manohar did not speak about Dhoni’s marriage and expressed ignorance about it, however, board secretary N. Srinivasan congratulated Dhoni.
The Rs.150 crore indoor cricket stadium is under construction in Ranchi. The stadium is likely to be completely ready by the middle of next year.
The BCCI president assured the people of Ranchi to organise international cricket matches after the stadium is completed.
