April 3rd, 2011 - 3:45 am ICT by IANSMumbai, April 3 (IANS) With the World Cup in their pocket, Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Player of the Tournament Yuvraj Singh indulged in a bit of fun and frolic while facing a volley of questions from the media after Saturday’s match.
The forgot a lengthy question asked and their only reply was: “Can you repeat the question?”
The journalists, who had tight deadlines to file their stories, took it in their stride and the whole room burst into laughter as both players giggled and passed on the microphone to each other to answer questions.
“We are not in our senses. Once we go back to the hotel we will be in our real senses. We are just trying to live the moment,” said Dhoni.
Asked if he was drunk, Dhoni burst out laughing and said: “Trust me, I didn’t have a single sip of champagne.”
Yuvraj, however, would be the official bartender of the team’s World Cup celebration party at the iconic Taj Mahal Hotel.
