Dhoni banned for two ODIs for slow over rate

Nagpur, Dec 19 (IANS) Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni Saturday was banned for two One-dayers for his team’s slow over rate during the second ODI against Sri Lanka here Friday.
Match referee Jeff Crowe is also likely to fine the whole team for finishing the match 45 minutes after the scheduled close of play.
Dhoni won’t be available for the next two ODIs in Cuttack and Kolkata but will return for the final match in Delhi slated for Dec 27.
Gautam Gambhir or Virender Sehwag is likely to lead the team in Cuttack and Kolkata.
