Derek Jeter, Minka Kelly engaged?

Aug 28 (IBNS) Derek Jeter’s on-and-off-the-field performances have been understandably worth hogging limelight!
One one hand, victory greets him on the field. On the other hand, The New York Post claims that Jeter and long-time girlfriend Minka Kelly are secretly engaged and planning a post-season wedding.
It was reported that the Yankee captain and the actress are telling close pals to “save the date” for nuptials in the fall.
Jeter has been linked to a string of celebrities and models throughout his career, including Jordana Brewster, Mariah Carey, Scarlett Johansson, and Jessica Alba.
Kelly is an actress best known for her role on the show Friday Night Lights.
Derek Sanderson Jeter (born June 26, 1974) is a Major League Baseball shortstop, team captain of the New York Yankees, and the all time hits leader among shortstops. He has spent his entire career with the Yankees, beginning in 1995.
Jeter served as a driving force for a Yankees dynasty, which resulted in four World Series championships between 1996 and 2000.
He is considered a consummate professional, by teammates and opponents alike.
In 2009, he passed Mickey Mantle for most career at-bats with the team, a record that had stood since 1968. He also passed Babe Ruth for most career doubles on June 23, 2009.
