Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Kenny McKinley Found Dead In His Apartment

Sep 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kenny McKinley, the fifth pick of Denver Broncos the 2009 NFL draft was found dead in his apartment last Monday. The sudden demise of American football wide receiver has left his friends and family shocked and saddened who were left mourning for his death. Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said that the detectives suspect that the player committed suicide but refused to divulge any details till they issue any final report.
Grayson Robinson said that Kenny McKinley might have shot himself and he was alone in the home when the incident happened. The County Sheriff said that a female friend of Kenny McKinley discovered the body when she came home after a short trip. However, he did not say if the police found any suicide note with it. The County Sheriff said that it is still a part of the “investigation”. The CEO and President of Denver Broncos said that Kenny McKinley was a part of the team and he will be greatly missed by the organization. The President said that his most condolences go out to Kenny McKinley’s friends and family.
The coach of Denver Broncos, Josh McDaniels released a statement where it was maintained that Kenny McKinley had a “promising” future and a “great” teammate who used to “light up” the team’s room with his smile and personality. The coach said that it was a tragic loss to the team. The college coach of Kenny McKinley, Steve Spurrier said that the player was one of his all-time favorite players and it was hard for him to figure out what went wrong and why it happened “like this”. A reputed media source reported that many Denver Broncos players were attending a fundraiser Monday night to help Kenny McKinley’s family and also to help his grieving family.
