Defensive End Ray Drew To Join Georgia Bulldogs

rayJan 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The recruiting momentum that the University of Georgia has been showcasing for the past few weeks received a whole new impetus on Friday when defensive end Ray Drew made the announcement that would be opting for the Georgia Bulldogs. With just a few days remaining for the big signing day scheduled for next Wednesday, Ray Drew’s announcement that would like to be associated with the University of Georgia has surely come as a good news for the university’s athletics team.

While explaining his decision to join Georgia Bulldogs, the Thomasville, Georgia resident told a reputed media outlet that ultimately what mattered to him were the people and the academics. Apart from the academics that the University of Georgia has to offer, coach Mark Richt is said to have played a pivotal role in making him decide that he would like to play for the Georgia Bulldogs. In an interview, Ray Drew also revealed that Communications is the subject in which he intends to major and considering the fact that University of Georgia is one of the much sought after communication schools across the country, he decided to join the university.

At the same time, the defensive end also reiterated that knowing coach Mark Richt and the kind of plans that he has outlined for him, it was not much difficult for him to zero in on the Georgia Bulldogs. Ray Drew turns out to be the 18th prospect from the same state to join the team while the 23rd overall commitment for the current season.
