Shreveport, Feb 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The anticipation of the large number of fans of Louisiana State University (LSU) football team grew by every passing minute on Wednesday, as they waited with baited breaths to find out whether defensive end Jermauria Rasco would ultimately chose the university for his college years. However, all the tension and wait was surely worth it as the 6 feet 3 player made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon that he has taken the decision to join LSU, to the utmost delight of the fans.

The tension at the Evangel Christian Academy’s cafeteria was palpable on Wednesday as hundreds of people who had gathered at the venue waited eagerly to know what the talented defensive end’s final decision would be. However, they could have been more excited when Jermauria Rasco declared that he had selected the Louisiana State University for his college years. While making the announcement, the young player initially said that he would like to thank all his classmates as well as coaches who have been associated with him for the last couple of years. The defensive end then went on to reveal that for the next three to four years, he would be taking his talent to LSU as he picked up the university’s hat and also took off his jacket to reveal his new LSU jersey.

Jermauria Rasco later said that even till Wednesday morning, he had no clue which college he would end up picking as he remained in a dilemma between Florida, Texas and LSU before taking the final call to join the Tigers in his college years.
