adrianMiami, Jan 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Iowa Hawkeyes clinched the Orange Bowl title this year after defeating the Georgia Tech with a score of 24-14, on Tuesday night. Like the Fiesta Bowl, the Orange Bowl also exhibited some praiseworthy defensive moves from the Iowa team. Adrian Clayborn, the defensive end of Iowa did his job well and did not allow the opposition to score much points in the game. He is one of the key players of the team and his defensive tackles has earned quite a lot of appreciation from many quarters.

The 6 foot tall defensive end of Iowa team, who had helped them win several games, was born with Erb’s palsy, a disorder that effected the nerves passing through his neck and right arm. No one could ever imagine that he would become a football player, as this sport requires a strong physique. However, it was the love of the game for the young player that helped him become successful and now he is one of the best defensive ends of the country.

Adrian Clayborn has excelled against Georgia Tech and led his team to the glorious win. He formed an impenetrable barrier in front of the Georgia offense and made them sweat in the wintry weather. In one of his interviews, he said that the defensive end of a team plays a significant role in determining the fate of the team in the game and so he needs to play well. Though the season has ended for the Iowa Hawkeyes, they will not miss this talented defense player, as sources stated that he would return for the senior season.
