Oct 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Star quarterback Brett Favre’s wife Deanna Favre talked about the photo-scandal surrounding her husband in a recent television interview in which she expressed her faith in religion in overcoming the disturbing allegations that have been leveled against her husband. The Minnesota Vikings player is alleged to have sent lewd texts messages and photos to former New York employee Jenn Sterger during his association with the team for one season. The controversy was sparked earlier this month when a website published the vulgar messages and pictures online and claimed that they were sent to Jenn Sterger by the 41-year-old player.

Deanna Favre made an appearance on the popular ABC chat show “Good Morning America” on Thursday in which she described herself as a ‘woman of faith’ while adding that faith had enabled her to overcome many obstacles in life and it would get her through this one as well. Although Deanna Favre appeared on the show to promote her new book ‘The Cure for the Chronic Life: Overcoming the Hopelessness That Holds You Back,’ the conversations automatically drifted to the allegations that her husband has been facing. She directly did not address the allegation but only added that she was relying on faith to overcome the scandal that has marred husband’s reputation.

In the meanwhile, National Football League has initiated an official investigation into the allegations to ascertain the authenticity of the claims that have been made by the website. The Minnesota Vikings quarterback meet up with the NFL officials on Tuesday with respect to the matter but refused to talk about it in a news conference that was held the next day.
