DeAngelo Hall fight
November 10th, 2009 - 4:08 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattWashington, Nov 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In the first half of the Atlanta’s 31-17 win over Washington on Sunday, DeAngelo Hall got into an argument and subsequent skirmish in the sidelines with his former teammates and in the end, Atlanta head coach Mike Smith was also dragged into the fight.
Later DeAngelo Hall said, “I ran over there to kind of pull my guy away. One of their strength and conditioning coaches put his hands on me and started grabbing me. Then it went to various other guys pulling at me and grabbing me. Through the whole time, I’m trying to get the guys’ hands off of me.”
Atlanta head coach Mike Smith tried his best to break up the fight but apparently DeAngelo Hall doesn’t think so. “Oh, yeah,” Hall said. “He put his hands on me in a harmful way. Talking about that he was going to kick my [butt] and all this other [stuff]. That’s not how you do things”.
People who saw the fight live said that Atlanta head coach Mike Smith did his best to stop the fight by dragging away the offending parties but DeAngelo is trying to play the victim in this case. Some heated words were also exchanged between the two, which might have fueled more aggression in DeAngelo Hall.
