Feb 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) One of the driver’s of Hylton Motorsports, Jill George was admitted in a care center after she met with an accident in the racetrack. The accident has made headlines, with people trying to find out what happened on the racetrack. Jill George’s fans too have been anxious since the news of her accident came out in the open.

The racer was debuting with the ARCA Racing Series event and her vehicle, the Hylton Motorsports Dodge Charger had already made it to the top 25. On the 25th lap, the mishap occurred and the racer was taken to the Daytona International Speedway Infield Care Center. However, the exact news of whether the crash happened in the 25th or the 27th lap, is still not clear.

The accident took place when she took a turn at the superspeedway, which is a high bank. In front of her was the wreckage caused by the Dodge Charger belonging to Jesse Smith, which she tried to dodge. However, this made her spin and she ended up in the 31st place.

Later, the driver gave her statement about the accident saying that, she “saw the tire blow on the 29 car”, and that when she steered to miss him, she found herself “sliding upside down across the track”. Jill George, who hails from the Cedar Falls from Iowa, said that in-spite of the mishap she was “looking forward to racing again in the ARCA Series ” again. The dejected driver even said, that she had the time of her life this week while at the racetrack.
