Dayne Crist’s Injury Leads His Team Notre Dame Fighting Irish To Lose

christSep 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was a sad fate on Notre Dame Fighting Irish team as one of their important players, Dayne Crist had to move out of the field in the first half itself owing to his head injury. Saturday was the much anticipated match between Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Michigan Wolverines football team. The quarterback Denard Robinson of the Michigan Wolverines stole the show with his defensive play where he scored a winning touchdown with 27 seconds and led his team to a victory with a score of 28-24.

The football quarterback of Notre Dame Fighting Irish led his team to a touchdown on their opening drive. After that he was taken out of the field. The team officials reported that Dayne Crist was having difficulty seeing out of his right eye. Even the freshman Tommy Rees replaced him right after it he left the field. However, it was of no help. Even Joe Montana’s son Nate Montana also replaced Tommy Rees but he failed to live up to his team’s expectations. Dayne Crist returned the field after the first half and he threw a 53 yard touchdown pass on his second snap for 24-21 lead.

The coach of Notre Dame Fighting Irish team after the first half said that the doctors of the team are presently trying hard to get him ready for the match. The coach ensures the media that unless Dayne Crist gets better he will not play the game. This injury of the player came as a bolt from the blue for the team, yet they managed to survive till the end. However, latter when Dayne Crist returned in the field he showed his magic in playing and gave a pass to TJ Jones and then the latter out his full effort in dashing the last 20 yards to make it a 21-17 game of the third quarter.
