David GarrardDec. 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) David Garrard’s performance was well up to the mark in the match against the Indianapolis Colts. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ quarterback’s performance was not well enough to match up with the performance of the Indianapolis Colts quarter back Peyton Manning. To be fair, he did play quite up to what was expected of him. He made 23 of the 40 passes, and also threw three touchdown passes, but his mistakes came too dear for the team. Her missed two interceptions by the Colts, and some of his passes were so high that they could easily be picked off by the other team.

After the game, David Garrard agreed that it was a shameful loss. However, he was in his characteristic spirited state despite it all, and took the loss in hos stride. He understood that he would be the butt of all criticism now that the Jacksonville Jaguars have lost the match. He commented that in the end, all the responsibility inevitably falls on the quarterback, at least, most of it.

David Garrard admits that his performance in the last two matches- the one against the Miami Dolphins and the current one- has not been quite up to the mark. He rues all that, and confesses that the losses were not called for. However, in his perspective, although baseball is a very important thing for him, he still regards it just as a game. In whatever he says, the reason that he showed when his career was threatened by the Crohn’s disease shines through. He admits that although a very important part of his life, playing the game is not everything.
