David Beckham to launch underwear line

London, Nov 7 (IANS) Soccer star David Beckham is planning to launch his own underwear range when he retires from the sport.
Beckham, who modelled for Emporio Armani briefs, wants to follow his wife Victoria into the fashion world.
“David is 35 and knows he won’t be playing soccer forever. But he’s an icon for men all over the world and he wears pants like no one can - so it makes sense for him to launch his own,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
Beckham, who currently plays for Los Angeles Galaxy, is supported in his plans by his manager Simon Fuller and fashion designer Stella McCartney’s husband Alasdhair Willis.
