The Cleveland Cavaliers were in news for quite a long since they got the star of NBA, Shaquille O’Neal in their team and recently the team’s manager Danny Ferry is the talk of the town as he has played a key role in the team for this year.

Ferry has set his goals for Cleveland Cavalier’s for the forthcoming NBA season. He has in his team besides Shaq, Zadrunas Ilgauskas who has not terminated his contract this year settling for a handsome $11.54 million for his next season. Ferry had been trying to get another player Verajao in his team for quite a long time due to which he had a little tussle with Dan Fegan who is a prominent NBA agent. Its been reported that though they have mended out their differences, both are still now seeking personal interests. He is also aiming at picking up important players like Villanueva and Anthony Parker, where the later is recently getting offers from his former team in Greece.

Ferry’s role at this moment demands extreme importance as he is on a fix which one to take among the two players. He obviously can’t take both the athletes as matters regarding which player having a better chance of landing is under consideration.

He also reports that in case Anderson Verajao gets an offer much lucrative than the Caviliers, then Ferry may have to let go the athlete.

Danny Ferry has been the general manager of the Cavs since June 27, 2005. Being Basketball player himself earlier, Ferry had acquired many significant players for the Cavaliers and under him, the Cavalier squad has won important championships as well.
