Feb 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A lot of people are eagerly waiting for the NASCAR debut of the IndyCar star, Danica Patrick. She has come into the limelight of late owing to her looks and racing talent. This is the first time she will be taking part in NASCAR but she has already become a household name. Last Saturday she finished sixth at the Daytona ARCA race, which was a low profile one. It remains to be seen how she fares on Saturday, where she will have to cope against the well known and talented NASCAR pros. Her presence is likely to ensure that more tickets will be sold. She has literally become the flavor of the season.

It is too early to say how she will fare in NASCAR where there will be candidates like Tony Stewart and Jimmy Johnson on Saturday. However, no one can deny that she has been practicing hard. Some of her fellow drivers are not quite happy with the amount of attention that she is getting these days. In fact, some of them have made their displeasure known on social networking sites like Twitter. The woman however, remains unaffected by such reactions.

This raises the question whether the fellow drivers are jealous of her accomplishments and possibilities. If she succeeds, such detractors will be silenced and it seems that she has the elements in her to prove it. She already has a lot of fans and the number is only going up with time. Her name has become one of the widely searched items on search engines.
