Indianapolis, May 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Danica Patrick had double cause to be unhappy at the end of the NASCAR race on Saturday. For one, she did not perform really well, something, as one of the most gifted racers in the race, she is obviously not very accustomed to. On the other hand, she blamed her below average performance in the race on the bad setup of her car, something which predictably did not win her a lot of favorable opinion from the audience. In fact, the audience were so very moved by her comment that they did not even bother to keep their thoughts to themselves, and soon after speaking her heart out, Danica Patrick was showered with a collective boo from the spectators’ gallery.

Danica Patrick had not done too well in the Indianapolis 500 race, and she was heard over the loudspeakers relaying the cause of her failure. She said that the car was too loosely fitted. Moreover, she also went on to blame the pit crew, insisting that her poor performance was certainly not her fault. Needless to say, these explanations did not go down too well with the spectators, who took no time in booing her, possibly not liking the fact that she chose the easy way out.

Danica Patrick herself was visibly upset at all the booing from the audience, especially because she is one of the most loved racers in NASCAR, considering that she is one of the few women in the profession, and a brilliant one at that. She admitted that she was not expecting that reaction from the spectators at all. However, she did stick to her theory that her race turned out bad due to a poor setup.
